To bring down the prejudices surrounding the expensive gondola, you should know that the price of a gondola tour depends on certain factors - namely the length of the trip and the programme that is proposed by the gondolier you have consulted.

Nevertheless, it is guaranteed to everybody, based on the official rate for the hiring of a gondola, the possibility of taking a standard tour starting from 73 euros.

This rate includes a nice tour during which you have at your disposal for the abovementioned price, one gondola for you and your friends. But keep in mind that gondola can hold a maximum of five to six people per boat.

It is not so if you go through a travel agency, who pay the abovementioned price to the gondolier, sometimes with the addition of an extra service, but who also make a susbstantial profit from each boat. If you add to this expense the fact that you find yourself in a boat with complete strangers, wiser and more careful management of your money would recommend you to approach the gondolier directly.
